  3. Hiya Sam, just casting on the next pair lol it's a bit addictive and has cured me of my bad facebook habit ;-) xx

Hi Eleanor they don't quite match perfectly but if you look I started bothe socks with the pink and blue bit of the wool and then the pattern just repeats , you just have to make sure that you pick an easy bit of the pattern to recognise and start with that each time - cool isn't it - I thought it'd be a bit more random though rather than big stripes xx

  12. I hear you regaring the thrill of the first completed pair! I'm actually wearing my first pair right now, and have two more pairs on the needles. I think the next thrill will be to learn to make them toe up. Did you use DPNs, or Magic Loop? I started mine on DPNs then switched to Magic Loop, it was faster.

  13. thank you Home and Heart and Elaine :-) *grin

Yes Ann, I did the same DPNS then magic loop , can't make up my mind which one i prefer though. Which make needles are you using?I'm on my fifth pair now which are toe up and the fourth pair are lying a bit neglected because I didn't want to wait to try toe up lol
If anyone had ever told me i'd be excited by knitting socks I wouldn't have believed them !!!!
